Utah Trip 2013: Kylee's Party and Family Pictures

After our hike to Red Pine Lake the Rich family arrived. The kids had soooo much fun playing with Duncan the entire week. We love looking back at these pictures of all the fun times they had with their cousins.

Cody got to help Grandpa put together a new big wheel. He even got to use the drill.

All the kids had something to ride and they never wanted to quit.

Cody played pinball any time he could steal a moment.

Kylee had fun with the drums.

Kylee decided she wanted to wait to open her presents from my family until we were in Utah. Grandma Ellen promised her a birthday party with pizza and a chocolate ice cream cake. It was fun to celebrate with lots of cool people.

My parents have a covered back porch with a comfy couch. It was my favorite place to be. After the kids were in bed we would all go out there and enjoy the night air.

Kylee and Duncan were such good buddies. They talk to each other and play together on Skype all the time so they just picked up where they left off.

All the grandkids!

Grandma gave all the grandkids a cool lunchbox and a water bottle. Cody's was Star Wars.

Livy got an Olivia the pig lunchbox.

Kylee's was Tinkerbell.

A Miche purse from Brooke and Tyler that is so cute. I want to borrow it.

After opening presents we all got ready for family pictures up the canyon.

Steve did a great job as the last-minute replacement for our photographer that went into labor in the middle of the night (my cousin). Steve found this location a few hours beforehand.

Looking good on the eve of their wedding. This is just the first of a solid 24 hours of smiling and posing for this happy couple. My cheeks ache just thinking about it.

Poor Duncan. He had just gotten his cast off two days before they arrived. So he wasn't really walking.

You have to do one of those engagement show-off-your-diamond photos.

Late that night after we had stayed up talking with everyone Steve and I finally made our way to the basement to get ready for bed. Steve was standing in front of the bathroom sink just about ready to floss when all of a sudden we heard a "tink, tink, tink" sound. Steve looked down into the sink and froze. His implant had fallen out (and luckily hadn't gone down the drain!). There we were two days into our two week vacation and it was the night before the big wedding and Steve was toothless.

Not good.

Although the wedding pictures would have been pretty interesting, Steve was able to put his tooth back in and it miraculously stayed in pretty well until he was able to get it fixed once we got back home.
It was a miracle!
