A Pillowcase Project to Be Proud Of...

Over Spring Break the kids and I did a sewing project together.
It ended up being more fun than I expected it to be.

We took the kids to the store to let them pick out their own fabrics. Once the fabric was washed and ironed and cut out the kids did all the pedal work while I helped guide it through the machine.

They turned out great and they were definitely proud of their work. They love their pillowcases so much that they don't use any other pillowcases now.

Grandma Tammy Visits

While Grandma stayed at our house the kids had fun making treats, doing projects, coloring Easter eggs, playing in the snow (it was the most snow we've seen since moving here!), and playing at the park (the snow only lasted a day or two).

pizza night!!

This is what a Snow Day (no school) looks like in Maryland.
Yup, you can still see the grass poking through.

It was so good to have Grandma come and make us feel special. We sure love visitors (hint, hint)
