Lovely Pizza

Kylee and I had fun in the kitchen on Valentine's Day making pizza together. Not just any kind of pizza....heart-shaped pizza.

She's been helping Steve make pizza for months now (every Friday!). So when I step in to help make pizza she is kind enough to train me.

She says I'm getting pretty good.

Kylee's most important rule: eat a pepperoni after topping each pizza.

Hope your Valentine's Day was fun. We were wishing we could've spent it with more of the people we love. We'll have to work on moving a little closer first.

I "mustache" you a question....

...will you be my valentine?

I found an idea on a blog for Cody to do for Valentine's Day. When Kylee saw it she wanted to do it too for her preschool friends.

So first we bought some mustaches and took some pictures. The kids automatically pulled the perfect face for the picture. Give them a mustache and a whole new personality comes out, I guess.

After we printed them out we attached a mustache to the photo that their
friends could put on their own face.

Here is Kylee at preschool yesterday with her friends...

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Have You Seen Me?

A few weeks ago Cody and Kylee were playing legos and couldn't find the little R4-P44 lego guy (it looks like R2-D2 from Star Wars, but I have been told they are NOT the same :). So they decided to write up some flyers to let everyone (in our family) know that we needed to be on the lookout.

They both got right to work with crayons and paper and then posted their signs on the fridge. The original plan was to make a flyer for each room in the house, but I assured them that putting something on the fridge would be effective enough.

This one is Cody's. He's getting into writing block letters lately but I think he got bored of that halfway through so only half the letters are block. It says:

Lego Lost: R4-P44
If found please return to us (Cody & Kylee).

This is Kylee's. Cody helped her with the words. It says:

Lost
Please return
if found

The good news is R4-P44 isn't lost anymore.  :)
