While we had some visitors from the west with us, Steve's new charcoal grill showed up on our porch. So, we were really glad we had some guests to help us break it in. We enjoyed grilled pizza, smoked steak, smoked ribs, and even s'mores. While Steve grilled Cody and Kylee took care of most of the photography.

A few months ago Grandpa Dean asked if the kids would make him some pillowcases. He liked the ones that they had made for their own beds. So while he was here we took Grandpa to the fabric store and let him pick whatever he wanted. He ended up going patriotic (with a small red and white stripe and blue with white polka dots) and making one for grandma Ellen so they could have a set.
One afternoon we went to Fort McHenry. It was so beautiful right there on the edge of the water.
