Cody's baptism day was so special.
It was a simple program with a few friends and family.
The best part was that Cody's dad holds the priesthood and was worthy to baptize Cody and confirm him a member of the church. Cody is also fortunate to have two grandpa's who were able to be there and worthy to participate in the confirmation and as witnesses of the baptism.
Grandpa Airplane played the piano, his primary teacher Sister Colleen Mitchell (who was Kylee's preschool teacher) led the music, Cody asked me to talk on Baptism and Grandma T to give a talk on the Holy Ghost, Grandpa Dean gave a prayer, and Cody's former primary teacher, Kara Davis, gave the other prayer.
Our sweet neighbor, Miss Barbara, came to the baptism and there were quite a few families from the ward who were able to make it. We stayed after and had refreshments and visited for awhile.

Once we got home, we changed our clothes and headed out to the Air and Space Museum Annex by the Dulles airport. They had so many cool airplanes! I personally thought it was better than the Air and Space Smithsonian Museum on the Mall.

Livy was done before the rest of us were and wanted to leave. Instead of just strapping Livy into the stroller (what's the fun in that?) I just pushed it around on two wheels so she couldn't get out. It was much more entertaining for me and really annoying for her.

After looking at 2 hangars packed from floor to ceiling with airplanes we checked out the Space Shuttle Discovery. Wow! We had no idea it was that BIG.
In this picture you can see that the space shuttle looks like it's made up of a bunch of puzzle pieces.

I'm not sure that Livy even knew that there were airplanes there, but the rest of us really enjoyed the trip! :)
