The day before Olivia's birthday Kylee had a special Kindergarten Celebration at school. The children performed a few songs and a poem and then they held a little Graduation program where each child got a certificate.
Kylee talked about it for weeks and was so excited for us to come. She absolutely adored her music teacher who put the program together. Too bad her music teacher is moving and won't be there next year.
On the morning of the program, Kylee was super excited to go to school. She even let me do her hair! She told Steve and I more than once that she wouldn't be able to look for us in the audience because she had to look at her music teacher.
You can see Kylee in the center of this picture. There aren't too many blondies, so she's easy to spot.
One of the songs they sang was to the tune of "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid. Instead of singing the words "Under the Sea" they sang "Up to First Grade" and it was really cute.
The last of the song was:
..."We've gained lots of knowledge,
We're ready for college
After First Grade"...
