Relaxing at the Ranch

Brooke, Tif, Sara, and Aubrey (the champions)

Cody on the 4 wheeler

Steve and Cody visiting the horses. Cody almost got Steve kicked by the horse because he spooked him. Cody doesn't seem to have Steve's way with animals. (That's why Cody is not smiling)

Steve and Cody in the canoe. It's too bad you can't tell how fast Steve can paddle a canoe from this picture.

Sara, Kylee, Tif, Aub, and Brooke

We just got back from Star Valley where we spent a few days at a ranch. What a beautiful place! There were horses, cows, canoes, four wheelers, and ticks. I liked everything but the ticks. My sister, Sara, had a following of them. I hope she didn't bring any home with her. Although I wasn't up for too many of the activities I did take part in the canoe racing time trials with my sister/teammates and we won the girls division by 15 seconds. I am sure we were very entertaining to watch since none of us really had a clue what we were doing. Mostly I enjoyed being in the cabin with the other moms and babies. Cody enjoyed canoeing and the four wheeling with Steve.

Polka Dots

I don't have anything new to say. Just the same old stuff. I love my little family! These were taken on Kylee's one week birthday (and my due date).

An Eventful Week and a Half

Kylee's first real bath

Cody checking out his new sister at the hospital. (As he was walking up to the hospital to see her he said, "ooooh! I am so excited!")

Our new little family. This picture is cute, but we won't be putting it above the mantle. Hospital gowns make me look fat :)

Kylee is only 3 hours old in this picture.

Here is a picture of my little birthday party. Kylee and I share the same birthday week. Steve and Cody made some brownies for me and decided to put every candle we own in my piece. What a treat!

Life is so good these days with Kylee a part of our family (a little chaotic as well). As Steve already announced Kylee Faith was born on June 1st at 2:22pm. She was 20 inches long and 7 lb. 13 oz. Steve and I think she looks a lot like Cody did when he was baby. It will be fun to see her personality and appearance unfold. It has been interesting to watch Cody adjust as well. He has really started doing a lot of things on his own and has been a big help. Just last night I asked him to put on his pajamas while I fed Kylee and he went in and did it faster than I have ever seen him change his clothes. Wow!

The Real Story

I have receive a lot of complaints about my previous post. It was my first ever and I was trying to convince Tiffany to make it my last through not telling the whole story.

We woke up Sunday morning planning on having an induction. We casually went to church and casually came home after sacrament meeting. Tiffany's water broke so we went to the hospital. Three hours later Kylee was born in a delivery room not our Honda. Three hours is still felt like a long time for Tif, but at least it wasn't in our car.

One of the best parts of the day for me was when Cody came. He was so excited to see his sister. We counted all of her extremities. since then, he has even been helping me change her diapers.

Sorry to all of you who just get this by email and don't read the blog comments. Even if you are mad, I am glad it was just a joke because I don't have to clean up our car from delivery.

Here she is.

Big Brother is Ready

Baby Girl Cramer is almost here and we are so excited. Here are some pictures of Cody the last few weeks getting ready for his new career as a big brother.

Cody fell asleep on the side of his crib, tuckered out from all his playing. How do you fall asleep like that without your knees touching the ground?

Steve's mom found a box full of Steve's old toys. There were tons of legos, some constructs pieces, and micro machine sets. Toys that every big brother needs. Steve and Cody were in heaven and have been playing with them non-stop. The funny part is, Steve has been playing with them more than Cody. Seriously!

We set up a new "big brother" bed for Cody last week and he loves it! I wasn't sure how he would feel about giving up the crib (modified into a toddler bed) to the new baby. We set up the twin bed for him not expecting him to sleep in it right away, but he couldn't wait to sleep in it. He said he wanted to stay home and lay in his bed at 3:00 in the afternoon instead of going to Grandma's house... (what?!)

Cody is such a great kid. Our new baby girl is lucky to have such a cool big brother.

A Day Out with Thomas

Yesterday my parents took Cody for the "Day Out with Thomas" in Heber City. HE HAD SO MUCH FUN. This kid loves Thomas the Train. They got to ride on the train for a few miles and did all the fun activities.

Cody and the Birds

Last night we had our family home evening (because Steve has class Monday nights) and we decided to watch a little bit of a documentary on birds that we found at the library called "Winged Migration." Cody loves animals so we knew he would like it. The film shows all kinds of birds across the planet as they migrate. The filming is really impressive. When we turned the movie off in order to get ready for bed Cody just couldn't settle down. He laid out a blue blanket on the couch (the water) and started jumping from the arm rest into the water flapping his little scrawny wings 50 miles an hour. He did that over and over and over. There was just no chance of getting him to focus on getting ready for bed--he was no longer human! Finally, I got him to brush his teeth by saying, "Let's go brush your beak." For the next 15 minutes he was jumping all over our bed catching fish, sitting on his eggs in his nest, and flapping his wings. Cody put on his pajamas when we said they were his new feathers and all during family scripture reading he was "tweeting". He is such a funny kid. It was hilarious! It was so hard to not just sit there and laugh. After we finally got him settled down in bed and asleep Steve and I laughed so hard.

Catch Up Time

Cody fell asleep right in the middle of playing with his cars.
Cody got an awesome bubble gun for Easter and we had fun plastering him in the shower.
After we read scriptures and it is time to brush teeth Cody likes to be a cowboy and ride the horsey into the bathroom. Cowboy Cody uses whatever he can find for a hat. Usually he uses a bucket, but here is using a little pillowcase.
Cody HATES getting his haircut. Steve decided to let him cut his hair in trade for letting us cut his. It actually worked and Cody thought it was pretty cool.
This is Cody showing off the souvenirs he got from Steve's family who went on a cruise and stopped off in Mexico. Cody got this snake and he is also holding some jumping beans. Who needs a cruise when you've got these?? Answer: Me! :)

Enjoy our random pictures. I love reading about all of you and hearing from you.

Lame Blogger

Welcome to the fact that I have been a very lame blogger lately. Sorry. Is anyone still checking this blog? Did you think it was abandoned? I haven't been able to post any pictures for awhile because I have been using the internet at my parents house and Steve always has the laptop at work or school which has all of our pictures on it. Besides that, we have just been busy but with nothing that I feel is blog-worthy. I have just been busy getting ready for the baby: cleaning, washing, rearranging, setting up, and throwing away. And Steve has been studying and working like mad. There is one great thing though that has been a dream come true for us (me more than anyone since Steve doesn't even know how to turn it on). We got our very first washer and dryer!! I never expected to have a set any time in the near future, but it turned out to be a miracle. I don't have an actual picture of our set, but here is one that is pretty close. I know I will appreciate this more and more once our baby girl arrives. Can I just say that I absolutely love doing laundry now? It's true!
