Multnomah Falls

On Saturday we drove into Oregon for a day of adventure:

Multnomah Falls!
(It's the second highest waterfall in the U.S.)

The three hour drive follows the Columbia River and is so beautiful.
We read from the Little House on the Prairie series the whole way there and the whole way back. 

It was so much fun.

On the way, we stopped in Hood River at New York City Subs for lunch and had amazingly yummy sandwiches.

The hike was super steep with switchbacks the whole way up to the top of the falls. And some of us have scraped knees to prove it. (See the last picture)

But don't worry. Our Dairy Queen Blizzards solved all of our ailments. :)
