Uncle Tyler, Grandpa Dean, and Cody built a sand castle at the park behind our house without any water or tools (except sticks).
Brooke and Tyler brought birthday presents for everyone. Brooke designed a stencil of Mercy Watson (Livy's favorite pig) and painted a shirt for Livy.
Kylee got a collection of washi tape and a nifty tape dispenser.
Cody got all of Brooke's childhood Pokemon cards. Wow! And a cool Utah Jazz lunch box to put them in.
We played Puerto Rico!
Livy loved the washi tape too and Kylee was nice enough to share it.
The girls kept busy in their "office" with tape, markers, and paper.
Tyler and Cody took all of the Carcassonne tiles and made a castle with a river around it. Then they added a castle around the river and a road around the castle. Tyler took a picture of them with his phone and posted it on Instagram. Right after that Cody asked him how many likes it had.
One day we went out to Larriland farm and picked blackberries and peaches. And then we ate cobbler every night until they were gone.
We went out to Fort McHenry again and got to see the actual size of the flag that was flown here during the war of 1812 (replica of course). It was huge!
Then we walked by the harbor for a bit before it started to rain and we had to get home for a school open house so Cody and Kylee could meet their new teachers.
I love the harbor.
My dad offered to watch the kids for us so that we could attend the temple with Brooke and Tyler. Steve and I hardly get the chance to go together so we were very grateful.

And being the super Grandpa that he is he not only watched all three kids for four hours, but he stretched our carpet too!
My mom had a t-shirt project that she didn't have time to do with the kids before she left so she gave it to Brooke and Tyler to do with the kids.
Here is the finished product. Lots of fun!
Our guests left Sunday afternoon and school started the next day!
It was a great way to end the summer!
