A Visit From the Hess Fam

We were lucky enough to have Uncle Brady, Aunt Raquel, and Rylee come for a visit!
We loved every minute of it.

Kylee and Livy put Raquel to work reading stories right away.

The next morning Raquel and I walked with the girls around our favorite lake. Kylee did a lot of the pushing and Raquel and I just tried to keep up.

Of course we played Kinect Sports. No one can even touch Grandma Tammy's Fruit Splatter record.

Reading books in the "clubhouse" (behind the couch). It's a secret so you aren't supposed to take pictures. Kylee read lots of books to the little girls.

Kylee loved having another set of cheeks to kiss. I think Livy appreciated it too.

Playing Kinect

Livy loves Brady. She wanted him to hold her, put on her shoes, and even change her diaper. Since we like Brady we had to draw the line at diaper changing.

When a package came to the door the little girls had an all out brawl. There's no denying they both know what a box on the porch means.

It can be painful to share. Livy was going for the innocent face which always means trouble.

We always start the day with a barrette, but we never seem to end the day with one. She had one when she was on the swings, but who knows what happened to it.

Cody got himself into the baby swing and then couldn't get out.

He was exhausted from trying to lift himself out.

Kylee just patiently hung around him. She loves Cody so much.

Raquel and Brady treated us to 5 Guys! YUM!

Raquel's high school friend, Jenny, came for Sunday dinner. It was so fun to have a house full of people and an excuse to grill some steak.

On Memorial Day we went to Pump It Up and played our guts out. Everyone had a blast.

Volleyball

Rylee talked about Steve all the time. Steve loved it. She would sing his name to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. So of course I had to get her to sing my name too. She called me "Tippy"

Slides!

When you ask Livy to smile this is what you get.

Brady and Steve had fun running up this tower to try to grab the velcro tags.

Then we went to Uno's pizza which is one of our favorite places.

We are so glad Raquel, Brady, and Rylee were able to come.
It wasn't too painful to say goodbye knowing we would get to see them again soon in Utah.

Thanks for a great week, Hess Family!
