Moms always say their kids are hard of hearing...
Well, mine actually are.
We took Cody and Kylee to the ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) Specialist and Audiologist. After two hours of exams and hearing tests we found that both of them have considerable hearing loss. Fortunately, the hearing loss is reversible. Both of them will get tubes in their ears and adenoids and tonsils taken out and experience instant relief.
Steve and I couldn't be happier with the results of our visit today. We, of course, feel bad that our kids can't hear and breathe well BUT we now take great comfort in the fact that we won't have to yell in order to communicate with our children for much longer. This surgery will also relieve their eternal stuffy noses and loud breathing at night.
You can bet that we will be creating a countdown chain to the big surgery day.
I think we will call it the Countdown to Peace.

Oh I had that problem when I was little. After my surgery I remember crying in the car on the way home because everything was so loud!! I was a cry baby though so your kids will probably be great. Good luck!!
