Kylee is {TWO}

I am at the library and have a second to pound out some more blog posts. So watch out! Here comes a flood!

Kylee turned two on June 1st. Yahoo! For those of you that don't know, we only took the bare necessities with us to Cali for the summer so we had to be a little creative this year. We managed to scrounge up one pan, a brownie mix, peanut butter M&M's, and one giant lighter (from our emergency kit in the car). It was deluxe.

After Kylee's dinner of favorites (noodles with butter and hot dogs) Steve decorated the cake by spelling her name with some M&M's and then he held the lighter over the cake for Kylee to blow it out.

She did great! She really got the hang of the birthday thing this year. She still likes singing happy birthday to herself.

We opened a few presents and played her favorite game Ring Around the Rosies for a VERY long time. But, it made her SOOO happy. Thanks to all the aunts and grandparents who called her on her birthday. She stayed by the phone each time she got done with a call and waited for the next call. Luckily, the calls just kept coming. It made her feel really special - THANKS!
