After making a quick trip to Maryland to look for houses a few months ago Kylee started to cry when we pulled up to our house in Pittsburgh. She said, "I want our new house!"

When I picked up Cody on his last day of school in Pittsburgh one of his little friends named David came up to me:
David: "Um, excuse me? I'm David. My mom is Jodi. You've talked to her before."
Me: "Hi David."
David: "Can I come visit you in Maryland sometime?"
Me: "Sure!"
David: "I won't need directions. I used to live in Maryland so I know how to get there."

When we opened up the house for the movers and started getting moved in Kylee walked from room to room opening closet doors. She was looking for her new baby sister. We have been telling her for weeks that our baby sister wouldn't come until we were in our new house and she didn't waste any time looking for her.

Steve was vacuuming the house on Saturday and Kylee came up to him and said, "Please don't vacuum me. It's important."

The first night in our house we didn't have any toilet paper or garbage cans in the bathrooms yet. We did have baby wipes though. After dinner our main floor toilet got clogged (and of course we didn't have a plunger). Cody was the last to use it so I asked him how many wipes he had used. He said he had only used ten. So we had to have a little talk. The next morning Steve left bright and early to get us a plunger. It turns out that Cody not only used 10 wipes but he had stashed the empty toilet paper roll in the toilet since there wasn't a garbage can. So we had another little talk about that too. I hope that won't be happening again.

The other night we were all around the table eating dinner. Cody was gulping his water but it sounded more like he was hiccuping or something. It was so loud. The rest of us were just staring at Cody and I was thinking he was getting more air than water. I started to say, "Please drink a little quieter," but Cody burst out laughing and said, "that sounded like high heels!"
