Cramer's Bakery

Before Steve started school again we spent a week together at home having lots of fun. Most of the time we stayed in, but we tried to brave the freezing weather and get out a little bit (after a lot of bundling first). When we were inside we did quite a bit of baking.

We attempted some bagels that tasted really good, but looked "homemade" so we decided to try again.

Check out these babies! These were even more delicious and looked awesome too. We made whole wheat bagels with this recipe with a few changes. Now we can make our own for much cheaper than buying them. Next time we'll be trying blueberry.

Then Steve decided to perfect his french bread skills since that is something else we love to buy, but have to be careful on our budget. His bread was so delish!

I can't wait until Steve has another break from school because when he's home there's always something yummy to eat!

P.S. Pass on any great recipes you've tried lately. We're always up for something new. We've got to spice up our January somehow.

Do you think you could send on over that french bread recipe? Nikki got a kitchen aid for Christmas and we… well she has been cooking up a storm. She has wanted to try french bread but we haven't found a recipe yet.

You guys are the bomb!

Hey Tiffany,I'm sorry to do this on your blog.. but can I get your email. I had a few questions for you about the tax service we bought at the YW fundraiser last year. Hope things are going well. It looks delicious over there!

Here is my newest favorite soup, it will go great with the bagels or the french bread.
In sauce pan-
1 can lime-cilantro stewed tomatoes
1 can chicken broth
enough chopped broccoli and cauliflower to fill just past liquids.
cook till veggies are done
put one half into blender, blend and return to pan.
ta dah only 4 ingredients!
