Sharks + French Fry Pizza = A Day We Won't Forget

Lucky for us, Steve's grandparents decided to make a stop in Pittsburgh while doing their two year tour of the country. So, we decided to take Nana & Grandpa Bob to the zoo. We made it there just in time to watch the Tiger Sharks being fed. In this picture Cody's watching the sharks.

In this picture Kylee is watching the sharks. You can't tell from these pictures that we are INSIDE the tank (in a glass tunnel). You just have to see it for yourself. It is awesome.

Grandpa Bob got his exercise. He pushed these guys up and down all the hills throughout the zoo. Nana and Bob got an education on what real hills are. They have been traveling the country for the last year and haven't come across anything like Pittsburgh hills.

After the zoo, we picked up Steve from school along with some pizza. Do you like french fries, steak, and ranch dressing? Then maybe you'd like this Pittsburgh treat. Yummy!

Kylee approved; I couldn't keep enough on her tray. She's not smiling because she is too busy chewing. Cody on the other hand only wanted the crust.

Nana and Bob were so fun to hang out with. They played any game Cody wanted, ate crazy flavors of pizza, and lasted through an afternoon at the zoo. We are so glad they stopped in our corner of the world - even if the visit was a short one!
