1. A different point of view:
"Look, mom! The city is jumping!" (Cody was jumping on his bed while looking out his bedroom window).
2. Cody is a rhymer all the timer.
Once he learned how to rhyme he started rearranging all kinds of words and phrases. We play the Rhyming Game: he says a word and then each person takes a turn saying a word that rhymes with it. But the game has kind of infiltrated his regular conversation. Quite often he will call me "Mommy Gommy" or say, "Kylee Wylee is awake!"
3. Always Right:
While our family was driving Cody spotted some towers and asked Steve what those "weird towers" were.
Steve: "I'm not sure. It might be a cellphone tower."
Cody: "No, I think it's a bellphone tower."
Steve (who is used to this kind of response by now): "I think it's a dellphone tower."
Cody (who can't stand to be wrong): "That's what I said."
