We just wanted to thank Mervyn's for going out of business. All of their toys were super cheap and so Grandma Tammy bought all of their airplanes (only $1.39 each) for her house and let Cody keep two of them at his house. Cody was wheelin' and dealin' Grandma to keep more of them but Grandma stayed strong. I don't know how she did it. He was being pretty cute about it. As she was leaving our house he made sure she zipped up her purse in order to keep her airplanes warm on the ride home. He didn't let go of them the whole day and the only reason he let go of them that night was because we let him keep them by his bed. That night in his "Cody prayers" the airplanes were the only thing that got blessed. This kid is in love.
I didn't even plan it but I realized that our little Thanksgiving "Give Thanks" sign in the picture goes perfect for this week. I'm just assuming here, but I am pretty sure that Cody is grateful for his airplanes.
Happy Thanksgiving to You!

Hey Tiff. Thanks for the invite. I have been wanting to look at your blog. I love your family picture. We are planning on coming the saturday after thanksgiving so we will see you then....I'm excited!
So very cute. I actually thought you had taken the picture by the sign on purpose. How funny. Hey, how did you set your lists of blogs to tell you when people update their blog? I've been trying to figure it out but have had no luck.
Oh we might need to stop by Mervyns...just not for kid's toys (at least not yet). Happy Thanksgiving!
